We Cannot Do It Without You!
Each year MBEF's Annual Appeal is the primary source of funding for the programs our students have come to rely upon in our schools. We need the support of every family in our District to join the effort to sustain MBEF’s impact and reach our goal of $5 million – we have just $275,000 to go. Please show your support so we can keep MBEF programs in our schools!

Thank you to those who have already contributed. If you are not sure if you participated yet this year, check out the complete list of All 2018/19 Annual Appeal Donors. Special thanks to our Lead Annual Appeal Donors who have donated $5,250 or more.

Social Inclusion Efforts in Our Schools
Creating an inclusive environment for all students remains a priority for our community and the MBEF Board of Directors. Originally introduced in 2016/17, MBEF's Social Inclusion Grants focus on funding efforts that decrease discrimination and increase social inclusion of all community members regardless of race, creed, ability, and sexuality. This year, Meadows 5th graders will take a trip to the California African American Museum during Black History month to celebrate African American culture. The annual International Day invites students and families districtwide to appreciate the rich cultural diversity of MBUSD and promote a community of inclusion and respect of all cultures by embracing and celebrating our similarities and differences. Check out the complete list of Social Inclusion Grants here.
